​​​​The Parsha shiur by the Rov will continue next week be"H. 

Tonight there will be a 9:30pm Maariv.

There will not be a 1:30 mincha tomorrow.

With the revised guidance of the state of Illinois we have updated our policies as follows: 

• As of now we will not be having minyan registration sign up as we are allowed more per minyan
• We will be reducing to 3 Shacharis minyanim
   6:45am, 7:45, and 8:45am 
• Each Bais Medrash copacity is limited to the proper amount for social distancing. If all the seats are taken then there is overflow in the adjoining room. 
• Masks must be worn throughout davening. Hand sanitizer and soap will be available throughout the building
• Maintain social distancing when leaving the Bais Medrash and do not congregate in hallway
  
  Our Daily Schedule (M-F) is now:
  Shacharis #1- 6:45am
  Shacharis #2- 7:45am
  Shacharis #3- 8:45am
  Early Mincha- 1:30pm
  Mincha- 10 minutes before shkia followed by Maariv
  Late Maariv- 9:30pm
  All the minyanim will be in the Main Bais Medrash, other rooms will be used as necessary.
  
  Our Kelim Mikva is now open!
  The water has been refilled in our newly tiled, state of the art, 24-6 mikva.
  Please ensure to keep to the Following guidelines:
  1)  One's hands must be sanitized before using the kelim mikva.
  2)  Please do all preparation (i.e. removing packaging and labels, etc.) at home. 
  3)  Only one person at a time should use or be in the vicinity of the keilim mikvah.  If the mikvah is in use, please wait outside the mikva and exercise proper recommended distancing until it is available. 
  4)  The keilim mikvah pool will be chlorinated, and disposable gloves (available in the mikvah) should be used.
  5) All Keilim should be washed thoroughly with soap before use. 
  6) If you or anyone in your household has any symptoms of illness, do not use the keilim mikvah at this time.
  We are taking hightened safeguard and sanitization measures, even with these safeguards in place, we cannot  safety guidelines:  

Due to the situation that we are all in we were unable to send out invitations. 

Only the רבש״ע knows the details where and in what format the chasuna will be.

שמחתי באמרים לי בית ה׳ נלך
We have all longed to return to Shul, our בית מקדש מעט. Our Shuls have always been the place where we connect with the רבש"ע through תורה ותפילה. To have the zechus of davening with a minyan is a great simcha. 

Minyanim are available for sign up up until Shavuos.
Please read through the guidelines carefully (in the re-opening letter) and sign up here:  https://calendly.com/koyc​​​​​​​ 
We are trying our best but as with everything new there are going to be challenges in everything running smoothly. Thank you for your understanding.

Please review the following guidelines before coming to Shul.
Due to state regulations:
·   Each minyan may only have 10 men. Therefore, attendance will be limited to Men and boys over Bar Mitzvah.
·      If you are over 60 you will need to have been cleared by a physician before joining any minyan.
·      There will be a compliance gabbai appointed for each minyan to ensure all guidelines are being followed. You must follow any instructions the gabbai gives.
·      You may only attend the minyan you are registered for and it needs to be a serious commitment that you will attend every day and come on time and stay until the end. If you can’t make it to one of your confirmed minyanim, it is your responsibility to find someone to replace you.
·      Everyone will have a seat with at least 6-foot social distancing.
·      Please make sure to bring a Mask, as they must always be worn whenever you are in Shul and when entering or leaving the Shul.
·      Please bring your own siddur and chumash (on Shabbos they will be provided by the Shul). Please do not use any of the seforim in the Shul.
·      The men’s room should only be used for emergencies.
·      There should be no congregating in the Shul, hallway or outside the Shul.
·      At this time, there will not be any food or drinks in the Shul building.
·      Please sanitize your hands upon entering and leaving the Shul.
·      After each minyan the surfaces will be disinfected.

Do not come to Shul if:
·      You feel ill or have any Covid-19 symptoms.
·      You had or think you may have had Covid-19, or have come in contact with someone who had Covid-19, you need to be cleared by a physician to attend the minyan.
·      If you have any pre-existing conditions that may cause complications with Covid-19 needs to be cleared by your physician to attend the minyan.
May our tefillos be answered that this pandemic end speedily.

DAF HASHAVUA SIYUM
Mazal Tov to the Daf HaShavua Chaburah on the upcoming Siyum on Masechta Chagiga. We are eagerly looking forward to the beginning of Masechta Yevamos next week. 

This Monday, at 9:00pm, our shul will be making a siyum on Maseches Chagiga. More details to follow.
A big oilam has finished the mesechta, learning through daf hashavua helps to understand and retain the daf.
Everyone is invited to join and be part of this great accomplishment.

To celebrate the completion of Chagiga and the entire Seder Moed, the national Daf HaShavua will be holding a global livestream Siyum event. See details in Poster below.

      Davening Reminders for at Home

• Today, Friday, is the 36th of the Omer, tonight we will be counting the 37th day of the Omer.
• If one is making an early shabbos everyone at home must be mekabel shabbos when the father/husband reaches בואי בשלום in לכה דודי.
• After Shemoneh Esrei you say ויכלו but not the ברכת מעין שבע.
• In order to give structure to the davening it would be nice to keep the same zmanim and read the Parsha as we would in Shul. See zmanim above.​​​
• ​​​​​​​We don't say the 2nd יקום פרקן and the mi sheberach that follows before musaf. We say Av Harachamim this week.
